MABS retains all the strengths of standard ABS, but adds a visual dimension not found in conventional plastics. It is ideal for printing design accessories, lighting covers, or prototypes where high impact strength and chemical resistance are required.

Surface treatment and post-processing

MABS is every modeler's dream. Unlike PLA, it does not "stretch" when sanded and does not melt due to friction, so it can be easily sanded and drilled without the need for water cooling.

• Smoothing and painting: For a mirror-smooth surface, we recommend using a filler, sanding, and then repainting.
• Gluing: Prints can be joined with special MABS adhesives or classic superglue in combination with an activator.

Recommended print settings

For best results, we recommend printing in a closed chamber (enclosure), which will ensure a constant temperature and prevent material stress.

• Nozzle temperature: 235–245 °C
• Bed temperature: 80–100 °C
• Object cooling: We recommend lower fan power (approx. 50%).
• Nozzles: Suitable for all common nozzle types. Choose the diameter according to the desired detail.
