Filament ROSA3D PLA BioWOOD [1,75mm, 1kg]

BioWOOD filament from ROSA3D is a material designed for both experienced printers and beginners, as it is very easy to work with. It hardly cracks or shrinks significantly during printing, making it suitable even for printers without a closed chamber.

The filament is made from a biodegradable polymer mixed with wood particles, making it more environmentally friendly and allowing it to decompose in the composting process after use.

Its uses are truly wide-ranging – from decorations and home accessories, to tableware (bowls, plates, mugs, cutlery), toys, musical instruments, and small furniture. BioWOOD products can also be further processed in the same way as wood – sanded, drilled, turned, and surface-treated with paints or varnishes.

Recommended print settings

• Nozzle temperature: 185-215 °C
• Bed temperature: 0–45 °C (printing possible even without heating)
• Speed: 60–80 mm/s
• Cooling: 50–100%
• Recommended nozzle diameter: min. 0.5 mm (due to wood particle content)
• In case of poor adhesion, it is advisable to use adhesive on the bed
